I am about to rent a flat in Glasgow.

I work full time and my girlfriend is a full time student.

Would it be possible to put the flat in my girlfriends name to make the flat exempt from council tax?

Also, because my girlfriend is a student, she will need a guarantor, so will the flat still be exempt from Council tax?

the council where i am at states that its only if there are all students in the house then its exempt from council tax if there is a mix then it would be either full or part payment
