hi all ,
a long story short was born in canada ,and have sort of always had thoughts of going back .Our dilemma have been with my partner 5years (living in glasgow )and due to graduate uni with an Ba (hons)Management with Human Resource Management. My partner is from dublin ,ireland .we are looking for a change in our lives .Originally we were looking to move to dublin from glasgow(scotland) ,however we have now been discussing toronto as a possible option .however unsure wether this is realistic .im 25 (almost a uni graduate) my partner 30 (security guard ,but qualified printer) we own a property in glasgow ,and will be renting this out .wot are the salaries like in canada and realistic cost of rent in the city (do like to live in a nice place ,as have no kids and is a luxury ) also how bad is the recession in canada ,would this cause us problems .as i have a canadian passport ,how does that effect my partner getting a visa ?????? soz a long one and lots of q’s
I love Toronto and I just moved here a yr ago from the US. I have a great job and the city is very nice -modern and sophisticated compare to a lot of American cities. I think you and your husband will love the change.
Recession or no recession, it can be easy or hard to get a job depending on your field and openings. I don’t know anything about HR. But compare to the US, the recession was not as bad. But that’s just my opinion.
